A prominent research center for chemical technology, the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), initially called the University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT), is situated and headquartered in Mumbai, India. It was founded in 1933 and given the title of a Deemed University in 2008, making it the only State-Funded Deemed University in India.
