The National Institute of Training in Industrial Engineering was the previous name of the National Institute of Industrial Engineering. The Indian government and the UN Development Program formed it in 1963. In several fields of business and industrial engineering, the institute provides postgraduate studies. These include project management, engineering technology, and the study of accounting and finance, economics, and strategy. Students can also enroll in Ph.D. programmes in a variety of subjects, such as manufacturing, systems management, organizational behaviour, and human resource management. Admission is available to PGDM programmes at the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) in Mumbai. All programmes' application procedures are carried out online.
