This is a university level exam organized every year to offer admissions into various UG & PG courses. Candidates have to qualify the entrance test with the qualifying marks to be eligible for admission into various programmes in the University. Admission will be offered into B.Tech, BBA, BCA, LLB, LLM, MBA, MCA & various other courses in the GGSIPU and various affiliated colleges. The IPU CET 2020 syllabus vary for various programmes. For UG courses, the syllabus is from 10+2 level topics and for PG courses, the syllabus is from graduation level topics.

The syllabus contain various topics from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology (Botany and Zoology) of 12th level.
The Syllabus contain various topics from – English Language & Comprehension, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Reasoning ability including data interpretation.

Common Entrance Test (IPU CET) is a university-level entrance exam organized by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). It is an online exam held for admission to UG & PG programs in the field of Engineering, Medical, Dental, Law, and Management. IPU CET Application Form(Released on March 1, 2020) of candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions will only be accepted. IPU CET for all programs will be conducted from April 25, 2020 – May 5, 2020.
IPU CET is conducted for admission in UG and PG programs. The eligibility criteria for each program differs. However, there are some basic eligibility conditions which must be fulfilled before filling the Application Form:
A candidate must pass class 12th in 10+2 CBSE Pattern or equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, getting passed in each subject separately.
Along with PCM, candidates should also pass English exam (core/elective/ functional)
The university will not be conducting a separate CET for this course instead will be using JEE Main Paper I marks for granting admission to candidates. Therefore, for candidates aspiring to do Engineering from GGSIPU must appear for JEE Main Paper- 1.

To get admission into post graduate technical courses offered by the university, candidates must primarily have a valid GATE score card OR CET qualified with a minimum of 60% or equivalent in the desired profile.

In addition to above, for MBA (Financial Analysis) the candidate must have passed in Mathematics at the 10+2 level.
Admissions shall be made on the basis of CAT 2019 score followed by CMAT 2020 on the basis of normalization of their scores. The University will be conducting its separate CET too but its scores will be used only if the seats are left vacant after utilizing CAT 2019 and CMAT 2020 score.
Minimum qualification required to apply for the program in IPU CET 2020 is given below:
Note: 50% aggregate includes best four subjects aggregate i.e. a language and mandatory subjects. The list of mandatory subjects will be notified on official website before the counselling begins. Students appearing in class 12 exam must submit documents proving their eligibility by last week of September 2020, else their admission will be canceled.
IPU does not conduct CET for LLB anymore. Candidates must appear for CLAT 2020 – UG in order to get admission. Candidates are admitted on the basis of cutoff list.
LL.B Degree as required by the Bar Council of India for Enrollment as an Advocate or an equivalent Law Degree from a Foreign University, with not less than 55% marks.
All candidates must appear for CLAT – PG in order to get admission in IPU. No seperate exam will be organized for the students aspiring for the given program.
Candidate who is willing to apply should be an Indian/Overseas Indian/Nepal citizen. Non-Resident Indians and Foreign Nationals are not eligible. The candidate should have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of his admission to the first year of the Course.

Eligibility conditions shall be decided by the Council of Architecture at the time of admissions. However, a candidate is required to pass NATA 2020 conducted by COA to be eligible for admission in architecture course of the university.
Admission Criteria:
Admissions will be made on the basis of NATA Score and the percentage of Aggregate* marks, i.e., (percentage will be calculated considering best five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English among all paper offered to the studen) obtained in the qualifying examination, i.e. senior secondary level or equivalent.

The test paper contains 150 objective-type questions. Each question is provided with four alternative answers, out of which only one correct or most appropriate answer should be selected and marked on the OMR answer sheet.
Hence, candidates must be sure about the answers before marking them because it will lead to negative marking in the total evaluation.
After IPU CET Exam Pattern, comes the syllabus, which is also of utmost importance. Subject-wise syllabus with proper topic understanding makes the student confident before and during the exam if the topics are well revised according to the syllabus.
