COEP Pune is a Unitary Public University of the Government of Maharashtra established in 1854. It was formerly known as the College of Engineering Pune and was recently renamed COEP Technological University (COEP Tech). COEP Pune campus is located over 36 acres. The university is also ranked 73rd in the NIRF 2023 rankings under the Engineering category. COEP Pune offers B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral), M.Tech, M.Plan, MBA, PG Diploma and Ph.D. courses. The top course offered by COEP is B.Tech and admission to the program is based on MHT CET (State Quota Candidates) and JEE Main (All India Quota) scores. For admission to an MBA, a valid score in MAH-MBA CET is required, while admission to a PG Diploma is based on a personal interview conducted by the concerned department of the college. For M.Tech, candidates must have passed GATE with a valid score. The COEP Pune Placement 2024 report is yet to be released. In the previous year, a total of 578 B.Tech students were placed with an overall placement rate of 73.35%. The B.Tech department has recorded the highest package of INR 50.50 LPA, whereas the minimum package stood at INR 4 LPA. Along with this, the institute has also received summer internship offers for B.Tech students.
