Overview

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was established in 1963 as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry to contribute in the skill building for the external trade sector of India.

IIFT offers a variety of courses, including PG, doctoral, certificate, and other programs. Some of its courses include MBA in International Business, Executive PG Diploma, and Export Management Certificate. IIFT has also contributed to India's external trade sector through policy research and skill-building over the years.

Over the years, IIFT has emerged as a national university withfocus on Trade, Economics and International Business, which is reflected in all major activities of the Institute viz. Research, Teaching and Training. Impart professional education in modern management techniques relevant to international business. Enable the participants to appreciate the inter-relationship between the diverse and complex tasks of international business.
