Overview

Indira Gandhi Institute of Aeronautics offers programmes in hospitality and aviation. The courses covered under the same area include Air Ticketing and travel management, Dual Diploma in aviation, tourism and hospitality, Diploma in Basic Cabin Crew Services & Hospitality Management, pilot training (commercial pilot license), Airport Ground Services (Airport Management) and BSc in Aviation, tourism and Hospitality Management. In order to promote aviation studies extensively, Govt. has undertaken association with US Flight Academy located in Texas State. Again there are other associations in terms of IICT, catering to courses in the modern Carpet & Textile Technology. IGIA is again in terms with the with Ministry of MSME (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises) Govt. of India, to offer services in training opportunity to the young generation of the country. Also collaboration with Basair Aviation College in Australia gives more options and choices in terms of training programmes and schedules too. Lastly Philippines has increased the scope of capital fund for aviation industry been set up in the country.
