Mukesh Patel School of Technology, Management, and Engineering had been formed in 2006 as one of its component schools under the direction of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. NMIMS was initially affiliated with the University of Mumbai when it was created as an institute of management in 1981 by Sri Vile Parle Kevlani Mandal. In the next years, NMIMS carved out a place for itself by becoming a Management School that is held to the highest standards for its management education. In Vile Parle West, Mumbai, Maharashtra, the institute is situated on Bhakthi Vendanth Swami Marg, next to Cooper Hospital, JVPD Scheme.
