Overview

Ramaiah College of Arts, Science, and Commerce was founded in 1994 by our founder, the late Dr M. S. Ramaiah, and offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management from Bangalore University. The college is authorised by AICTE in New Delhi and recognised by the Karnataka government. The college is also recognised by UGC under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act of 1956 and has been reaccredited with an "A" grade by the NAAC..

Dr. M.R. Jayaram acknowledged the hard work of the faculty and staff in maintaining high standards which helped achieve this milestone and said, “We are grateful to all our students and parents who have trusted our brand.” As an autonomous institution, MSRCASC now has the opportunity to tailor its curriculum to further its vision and mission, thus marking a significant chapter in its academic journey. With three decades of experience in imparting quality education, M.S. Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce celebrated the launch of its autonomous status on April 4, 2024. Conferred by UGC, Government of Karnataka and Bangalore City University from the academic year 2024-25, the status enables the institution to offer a wide array of courses and frame a globally competitive curriculum. The event was presided by Dr. M.R. Jayaram, Chairman, Gokula Education Foundation with Chief guests, Prof. Lingaraja Gandhi, Vice Chancellor, Bangalore City University and Prof. S.R. Niranjana, Vice Chairman, Karnataka State Higher Education Council, along with Sri M.R. Janakiram, Director, MSRCASC; Sri B.S. Ramprasad, Chief Executive, GEF (Engineering and General Science); Sri G. Ramachandra, Chief of Finance, GEF (Engineering and General Science) and Dr. Vatsala G., Principal, MSRCASC, gracing the occasion. This event was attended by the staff and students of MSRCASC.
