SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM IST), formerly known as SRM University is a Deemed-to-be University located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu was established in 1985. SRM IST is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited by IET Engineering, the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, National Board of Accreditation (NBA), and NAAC with A++ grades. SRM Chennai Campus is spread over 250+ acres and has a total of six campuses offering UG, PG and Doctoral programs in the fields of Engineering & Technology, Management, Medicine & Health Sciences, Science & Humanities, Law and Agricultural Sciences. According to NIRF 2023, SRM University Chennai is ranked in 18th position under the University category and 32nd position under the Overall category. B.Tech and MBA are the flagship course offered at SRM University Chennai. Admission to all Engineering and Management course is based on SRMJEEE and SRMJEEM scores. SRM University Chennia offres admission to MBA courses full-time, part-time as well as on online mode. SRM Chennia has a track record of placing 95% of its eligible students in tio companies like Aditya Birla Group, Bosch, Bajaj Finserv, Axis Bank, ITC, Vendanta etc. The highest package offered for the batch 2023-24 was INR 52 LPA and the average was INR 7.5 LPA.
