Overview

The Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Mumbai, was established in 2014, by Maharashtra State Government under MLNU Mumbai Act. The university is a part of Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) of India. Moreover, it has Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with international universities including, L’Universite’ Paris Nanterre and, Berlin School of Economics and Law (BSEL), Germany to provide student exchange programmes opportunities.

Currently, the law university is operating from its campus at Centre for Excellence in Telecom Training and Management (CETTM). Earlier, it shared campus with Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai for the first two years. MNLU Mumbai is developing its own campus on 60 acres of land as allotted by the state government and will be shifting soon.
