Exam Pattern & Syllabus

As KEAM 2024 is conducted for Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Fisheries and Architecture courses at UG (Under Graduate) level. The eligibility criteria of the entrance exam differ from one course to another. PCM and PCB stream students of Class 12th in Kerala are eligible to appear for the state-level entrance exam, i.e., KEAM. The eligibility criteria of KEAM 2024 is specified by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams (CEE) Kerala, and each candidate should oblige to the rules and regulations prescribed the CEE. Candidates who have either completed Class 12th or pursuing Class 12th can register for the entrance exam, i.e., KEAM. However, the candidates need to choose the UG course that is relevant to their stream in Class 12th.

For example, candidates who wish to pursue the UG Agriculture course in Kerala must have studied Class 12th with PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) as the stream. On the other hand, candidates aspiring to pursue B.Tech course must have studied/ passed Class 12th with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) as the stream. How To Prepare

KEAM 2024 application form has been closed. The applicants are advised to check their KEAM 2024 eligibility criteria before applying. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 20 & 21, 2024, in offline mode in 352 centres including 14 districts in Kerala, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Dubai. 

In order to fill the KEAM application form 2024, applicants will have to click on the direct link mentioned above. Then they will have to upload the images and necessary details. Then they have to pay the application fee and submit the form. After submitting the form, the applicants will have to take the printout of the application form. They have to send the application form with the specified documents to the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE).

KEAM is a state-level exam conducted by CEE. The exam is held annually to offer admission to interested candidates in B. Tech programmes at various government and private colleges in Kerala. The examination was initially organised for admission in programmes of Engineering, Architecture, and Medical in the colleges of Kerala. However, since 2016, KEAM Scores are used only for admission into engineering programmes . With NEET becoming the national level medical/dental entrance test, KEAM medical exam has been discontinued.

Admit Card

KEAM admit card 2024 will be released by Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala in online mode. The admit card/hall ticket of KEAM will be available for the candidates who have successfully registered for the KEAM entrance exam. The KEAM 2024 admit card will not be sent via post to the candidates. However, it can be downloaded from the official website with the help candidate's application number and date of birth.

The admit card is an essential document that states the eligibility of the candidates to appear for the examination. It is a mandatory document that must accompany test takers at the exam venue. Without the admit card no candidate shall be entertained inside the exam hall. KEAM 2024 hall ticket will mention all the details like name and address of exam centre , application number, exam date, time and guidelines to be followed on the day of the exam. Before printing the admit card, candidates must verify all the details mentioned on KEAM admit card 2024 and any issue/discrepancy must be reported to the examination authority for rectification.

Note: Candidates must take a printout of KEAM hall ticket/admit card and carry the same along with valid identity proof to the exam centre .
